It's a.....

 Boy! We are so excited to be having a first born SON!

Here are his lil feet- resting on top of the placenta...

We learned the news on Dec. 8th-- Exactly 20 weeks. Half way there!!

We asked the ultrasound tech to let us try to guess the gender, based on what we saw. And right away, while we were getting oriented to his crazy positioning, I noticed it was a boy. According to Matt, me and the tech said it was a boy at the same time. It took us a minute to get Matt on the same page, but he then saw him too!!! Little man didn't make it easy to get many good photos because he was doing a crunched headstand the whole ultrasound. But thankfully, we saw what we wanted to! Plus he's nice and healthy, measuring 20 weeks, 5 days. Ahead of schedule! 

And we couldn't help but laugh at his measurements- 

he's got a long torso, and some short legs!
