Welcome...

Hello family and friends,
Laura and I are proud to announce that we will soon be parents!  We wanted all of  you to be a part of this with us, so you are welcome to follow along as this tiny human prepares to enter the world.  Both of us have been ready for a long time now (Laura since age 4 and me since 6 months ago), so we can't wait to have the little one join us.  Laura is currently 13 weeks into her pregnancy, feeling well despite an occasional wave of nausea and/or emotion, and the baby is completely healthy as far as we know.  It was amazing to hear the heartbeat and see the little teddy bear wiggling around in the womb at 8 weeks, and now it's looking more like a baby as you can see from the 12 week ultrasound.  Of course, we are overwhelmed by the privilege of becoming parents, but incredibly hopeful and excited at the same time.  Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and look for many more updates to come.
